This Blancpain X Swatch watch honors Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms, the first true diver’s watch. Celebrating one of the most extreme environments on our planet, the ANTARCTIC OCEAN model features a bicolor water contact indicator that detects the presence of water.The SISTEM51 mechanical movement is visible thanks to a transparent sapphire glass and features an illustration of the Antarctic Ocean and the Tritoniella Belli nudibranch in digital print. The animal’s muted colors inspired the color of the watch’s Bioceramic case, gradient dial, and NATO strap created from recycled fishing nets that were removed from the sea. The pin buckle and loops are made of Bioceramic material.
