Rolex GMT-Master II 16710 ‘Pepsi’ Stainless Steel Black Dial

The Rolex GMT-Master II 16710  introduced in 1989 marks a pivotal evolution in Rolex’s watchmaking history as it transitioned into the 21st century.  Featuring a slimmed-down 40mm by 12.5mm steel base compared to its bulkier predecessor in the ref. 16760, the 16710 defined an entire era of GMT Master-II watches with its iconic Pepsi bezel and highly legible dial, along the way prepping the groundwork for even more updates to the classic design in the decades to follow

The 16710 boasts a black dial protected by a sapphire crystal, an automatic movement with a date function, and a 50-hour power reserve. Water-resistant up to 100 meters, it is finished with a stainless steel bracelet. This model not only defined a generation of GMT-Master watches but also laid the foundation for future design innovations.
